Jake Xie, musician and engineer, plays saxophone in the Carson High Jazz Band, Reno Youth Jazz Orchestra, and Mile High Jazz Band. The members in the quintet are Jake Xie (sax), Teagan Loranz (guitar), Kaya E (piano), Zack Hurley (bass), and Jackson Strawn (drums).

Since age 12, Kat MacMartin has been making music. She started on violin and also learned piano, electric bass, and guitar. She specializes in Celtic fiddle and classical music, and plays in orchestras, a string quartet, an indie rock band, and performs solo for events. She teaches violin, piano, and guitar, and enjoys hiking, reading, and traveling.

His musical influences include acoustic guitarists and singer songwriters of the 1970s, and his eclectic repertoire consists of popular songs of different styles and generations. He writes, performs, and releases his own material.
