Monique DeHaviland: Singer, songwriter, European/American recording artist (EMI/Columbia, Mobandi music, ASCAP); attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, recorded original work on Performed in Europe (Slovenia, Germany, Croatia, Italy) & primarily the West Coast of the United States. She regularly performs with Moxie Ruckus dance band & the Monique DeHaviland band (jazz and variety) in the northern Nevada and Northern California areas. She has performed and recorded with musicians of Earth Wind & Fire, War, Eddie Money, Richard Marx, and even the Bakersfield Buckaroos. In the EU with the Ljubljana Big Band singing the Great American Songbook.

Performers, also in the band:
  • Daniel Dillon: jazz pianist, San Francisco/New York toured with Mel Ellison, performed along side Eddie Marshal & Art Pepper. In NY studied at Juilliard School of Music and performed with Art Blakey Jazz Messengers, Horace Silver Quintet, McCoy Tyner's band; he recently moved to the Reno area.
  • Timothy Goldsmith: Bassist, vocalist, songwriter, from the East Bay, landed a spot playing and singing with Frank Biner (an associate of Tower of Power), he performs in various jazz and R&B combos in the area (NV Museum of Art, Bank Saloon, Gina's Good Life Muisc and Lounge, ...among others)
  • Andy Shulman: jazz drummer, studied under Freddie Gruber and influenced by Steve Gadd, David Garibaldi, Harvey Mason, Buddy Rich, Andy has performed in the Reno Tahoe area with various combos.
  • Lukas Arizu: Jazz Guitarist, Latin American heritage, graduate from the UNR music/jazz program and local solo and combo artist.

The Reno Video Game Symphony is a nonprofit, educational band program that uses video game soundtracks to promote the arts in Northern Nevada.

Performers: Jason Mallari - Alto Sax, Cameron Asato - Alto Sax, Joyce Sindar-House - Tenor Sax, Symberly Schuler - Tenor Sax, Cody Wyllie - Bari Sax, Austin Zell - Trumpet, Kelli Noel-Palmer - Trombone, Sean Masterson - Trombone, Brandon Harnish - Piano, James Dunlap - Bass, Emerson Schuler - Drums, Travis Noel-Palmer - Director.

RoseBud's Dance Band formed as an affiliate of the Carson Valley Pops Orchestra. The band rehearses in Rich Sheldrew's "Man Garage" with RoseBud, the Sheldrews' rescue burro, looking on. Some of the approximately 20 musicians are members of the Carson Valley Pops Orchestra. The band plays mostly Big Band-era dance, jazz, and swing, with some modern pieces.
