CeCe Gable is a consummate jazz performer who has sung in clubs and venues throughout the US, Europe, and Japan. She has produced four CDs to critical acclaim. In the Reno Tahoe Area, she has been a featured Guest Artist with the Reno Jazz Orchestra, the Reno Philharmonic, the Reno Pops, and the Carson City Symphony. She is a published author, and a collaborative lyricist, composer ,and publisher. Her repertoire spans genres and generations, from Sondheim and Weill to Monk and Gershwin, and she is best known for her interpretation of the American Songbook. Her band today includes Joe Cadena, trombone; Bill Hecht, keyboard; Mike Kirkhaus, bass; and drums.

Nick Aliberti (Kingwhistler) at the Bank Saloon

Frontman and songwriter, Nick Aliberti, draws inspiration from his travels, having lived all over the country. He played to rave reviews in Hollywood, kicked off the Levitt AMP Summer Series at the Brewery Arts Center opening for Antsy McClain, and played numerous solo shows and private events throughout Northern Nevada. His debut album, Grass Routes, was musically inspired by classic California country and folk rock, influenced by the American ideal of a road trip.

Virtuoso chromatic harmonica player Tom Stryker, and keboardist & vocalist Jimmy Vermilion perform on the Nashville Social Club's Soft Note Stage. They also perform at Nashville Social Club on August 10.

Find out all about the trumpet with Dr. Josh D. Reed, assistant professor of jazz trumpet at UNR. He a trumpeter and educator with degrees from the University of Colorado Boulder, the Eastman School of Music, and James Madison University. He has shared the stage with many great artists, and leads his own trio, quartet and quintet. He has taught private lessons, ensembles, and courses at Lagond Music School in New York, Metropolitan State University in Colorado, University of Colorado, and communities throughout the United States. He released his first recording as a leader, "Leaping Forward" featuring Art Lande, and is also featured on several other releases.
