Please note, per government regulation: "No firearms of any kind (either carried concealed
or open carried, loaded or unloaded), are permitted on the Mansion grounds to include
the Nevada Room."
The Governor's Mansion grounds will open to the public at 4:00 p.m.

The Gardnervillains Duo - Friday 8/16/2024 - 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. - Nevada Governor's Mansion
The Gardnervillains jazz combo delights in presenting fresh interpretations of classic
swing music from the Great American Songbook, lots of danceable tunes from latin
genres such as bossa nova and samba. The Duo loves to improvise on blues, bossa and more
and guarantees to get audiences toes tappin' and fingers snappin'.
Members of the duo are Shorty Garcia, guitar (on the right), and Tim Goldsmith, guitar

Reno Jazz Orchestra - Friday 8/16/2024 - 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. - Nevada Governor's Mansion
The Reno Jazz Orchestra is a 17-piece contemporary big band based in Northern Nevada.
The band was formed in 1997 by musicians who have performed with acts such as Frank Sinatra,
Sammy Davis Jr., Elvis Presley, Natalie Cole, and Luciano Pavarotti and traveled the world
with legendary performers. Music Director Greg Johnson was selected to lead the band in
May 2024.
