Reno Youth Jazz Orchestra logoThe RYJO Alumni Band, under the direction of jazz violinist Graham Marshall, performs at Comma Courtyard on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021, from noon to 2:00 p.m.  The performers are alumni of the Reno Youth Jazz Orchestra.

Celebrating 15 years of Reno Youth Jazz Orchestra, the alumni combo is an honorary reunion of past RYJO big band members.  Led by Graham Marshall on violin, the combo also includes Kim Rubio on trombone, Chris Casaceli on sax, Vincenzo Pellegrino on keys, Dave Strawn on bass, and Zach Howard on drums.  Join us in the courtyard for an afternoon of exciting modern jazz!

The Reno Youth Jazz Orchestra  is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2006. Its mission is to assemble, by audition, the top middle and high school jazz talent in the Reno-Sparks-Carson-Tahoe communities in order to provide opportunities for the performance, preservation, appreciation, and study of jazz.
