Carson City Open Studios Art Tour 8/24

August 24, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

The First Annual Carson City Open Studios Art Tour will be held in various locations downtown on Sat., Aug. 24, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  This an an opportunity to support local Carson City artists.  You will be able to see inside the studios, when the magic happens.  Over 20 artists are participating in this event.  Live musicians will be on hand at several locations throughout the day.


Participating artists are: Pam Brekas, Dana Childs, Karen Kreyeski, Julie LaCroix, Clair Bridwell, Mimi Gomberg, Robin & Rich McGregor, Donna Jensen, Deana Hoover, Margaret Stillwell, Jessica Brown , Debbie Anderson, Pegi Ione, Elaine Legras, Bridget Norman , Julie Mitchell Raithel, Rachelle Remington, LaVonne Vasick , Jim Markle, and Gail Rogers.

Musicians will be performing at various locations, as follows:

Mylo McCormick, singer-songwriter – 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Nevada Artists Assoc. & Expresso Yourself Café.

Jack Di Carlo, guitarist – 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Moongirl Studio.

Kat MacMartin, fiddler – 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Nevada State Museum.

Athena McIntyre, singer-songwriter – 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. at Deana Hoover Studio.

The First Annual Carson City Open Studios Art event is presented by Mile High Jazz Band Association as part of the 2019 Jazz & Beyond Festival, and is supported by grants from the Carson City Cultural Commission, the Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts, and private donations.
