Come celebrate 20 years of the Carson City Quality of Life Initiative with a special event, Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, at Silver Saddle Ranch (2648 Carson River Road). All performances are free. There will be music, burros, and a food truck. Donations are welcome. Bring a chair. Performers include:

- Alex “Muddy” Smith – 5-6 p.m.
- Sagebrush Rebels – 6-8 p.m.
Enjoy several performances during “A Day at the Ranch,” Sun., Aug. 7, 2016, at the Silver Saddle Ranch, near the Carson River. This is a 702-Acre passive open space area connecting the Prison Hill Recreation Area to the Pinenut Mountains Recreation Area.
Directions: From the roundabout at Fairview Drive and 5th Street, take E. Fifth Street east until the intersection of E. Fifth Street and Carson River Road (1st right after roundabout). Follow Carson River Road south 1.4 miles to the entrance of the Silver Saddle Ranch, on right at bend where Carson River Road turns east. This is 4901 Carson River Road. Follow gravel road 0.6 miles to parking area.
